London Design Festival
City Wide Until September 25 Many events are free
The London Design Festival is celebrating its 20th year with a whole host of installations and museum exhibits.
Promoting London as the design capital of the world, it celebrates all the talent the city has to offer.
Highlights include the WEVE2050 exhibition in Soho, which focuses on sustainable stories in China by local designers from realistic and cultural perspectives.

Empty Cradles: Israel’s Disappeared Children

London’s Brunei Gallery has opened a new exhibition which aims to help Jewish migrant families uncover the fates of hundreds of children who disappeared in the early years of the State of Israel.
The exhibition shares moving testimonies from mothers who had their children taken, often by force and a collection of documents and photos recording the policy of systematic separation of children from parents.

Raver Tots, which is exclusively for families with young children, is bringing its huge festival back to London this weekend.
Over 5000 families are expected to come to Hainault Recreation grounds on Sunday to dance to tracks from the biggest names in dance, garage and reggae.
