West Ham are reportedly in the frame to sign Toulouse star Logan Costa following an exceptionally busy transfer window that has seen them recently sign Leeds star Crysencio Summerville.
The 22-year-old winger will head to the London Stadium on a five-year deal with the option to extend for a further year. However, Julen Lopetegui is far from finished in the ongoing transfer window as he aims to continue strengthening the Stratford club’s defensive set-up and, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, both the Irons and Newcastle are interesting in signing the 23-year-old defender.

While neither the Magpies or the Irons are likely to have an issue with such a figure, according to Corriere di Bologna, Toulouse have put the price of Costa at closer to €15m (£12.8m) and it is said the Serie A side will ‘have to overcome competition from West Ham’ but there is no mention of Newcastle in their report.
The 23-year-old footballer Costa has been with Toulouse since 2021, making 26 league appearances for the side. With ten French youth international appearances, Costa opted to represent Cape Verde at international level and has three caps to his name.
Gazzetta dello Sport have also added in their report that West Ham have ‘not given up’ on the Nice star Jean-Clair Todibo. It is reported that the defender is pushing the Hammers away, in favour of a Juventus move, but the Turin side haven’t got any closer to the demands Nice have asked for.

Todibo, 24, was previously part of the Barcelona squad, making four appearances for the La Liga side from 2019-2021. The centre-back joined Nice, however, three years ago in an initial loan move that was made permanent after the French side paid €8.5m. He has made 100 Ligue 1 appearances for Nice, scoring one goal in the process.
