West Ham kick off their Premier League campaign with the visit of Aston Villa to the London Stadium on August 17.
It's a tasty-looking encounter to start the upcoming top flight season with Unai Emery's men looking to build on an impressive fourth place finish last time out.
For Hammers supporters, that clash will be the first time they see a competitive Julen Lopetegui West Ham side in action. The Spaniard has already brought Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme into the club this summer with plenty more transfer rumours still swirling around the London outfit.
LondonWorld looks at what a potential West Ham starting XI could be next season, if current transfer rumours come true - player market values as per Transfermarkt.

1. GK - Alphonse Areola, £8.5m
Looks almost certain to continue as first choice in between the sticks. Lukasz Fabianksi may fancy his chances of reclaiming the role under a new manager but faces an uphill battle while new signing Wes Foderingham looks to be back-up. | Getty Images

2. LB - Emerson, £10m
A pretty confident season last time out. Can provide dynamism on the flank but will want to lose a couple of those defensive errors next term. | Getty Images

3. CB - Max Kilman, £27m
West Ham splurged £40 million to bring Max Kilman to West Ham and reunite him with Julen Lopetegui. A consistent defender, the 27-year-old will be at the heart of defence. | Wolves via Getty Images

4. CB - Konstantinos Mavropanos, £17m
It's in between Mavropanos and Kurt Zouma to partner Max Kilman at centre-back. The Greek defender was perhaps the more consistent last term. | Getty Images
