'Real feeling' - West Ham face £35m Liverpool competition for Leeds United star

West Ham will have to do battle with Liverpool if they are to bring talented Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville to the London Stadium this summer.
The Hammers have been proactive so far this window as the club prepares for a new era under Julen Lopetegui. West Ham confirmed the signing of rising star Luis Guilherme last week and technical director Tim Steidten has been in Brazil working on new deals.

The 22-year-old was named Championship Player of the Season last term having bagged 19 league goals and nine assists and is hotly tipped to leave Elland Road for a top flight side.
With such an impressive outing last season, Summerville would be a player ready to go straight into the West Ham starting XI, whereas Guilherme seems a star to develop in London. The Sun had reported transfer interest in the player with Premier League rivals said to be competing with Chelsea for the player.
However, a new update finds serious interest from Liverpool with the Reds said to be readying a £30 to £35 million bid to send to Leeds United. According to GiveMeSport reporter Ben Jacobs, such an offer could spell trouble for West Ham and any other sides looking at the player.

Jacobs said: "It is very likely that Summerville departs Leeds. Liverpool are interested in him and there’s a real feeling that £30-35 million might be good enough, even though Leeds’ valuation might be slightly higher.
"We may see a domino effect as well. You’ve got a lot of clubs in the market for Michael Olise, like Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. Those who miss out on Olise may realise that Summerville is an excellent option at half the price of Olise’s release clause."
The Leeds United star is just one winger linked with a move to West Ham this summer. The club have supposedly been offered former Crystal Palace man Wilfried Zaha by Galatasaray. Meanwhile, versatile Fluminense forward Jhon Arias is another option.
