Man Utd vs West Ham early injury news as 8 ruled out and 2 doubts

West Ham head to Old Trafford on Sunday as they look to climb the table and finish the campaign with some sort of momentum. It has been a frustrating time for the Hammers, who are currently 17th in the table, but they can leapfrog Manchester United if they can complete the double over them this weekend.
The Red Devils are fresh of the back of a resounding win over Athletic Club, booking their spot in the Europa League final, so they should be in good spirits. Here we take a look at the early injury news surrounding both teams going into this one.

Hide AdMathijs De Ligt - Out
Amorim has ruled the defender out for Sunday, saying: “It is not a big issue, so that is a good thing. But he cannot play tomorrow and on Sunday [vs West Ham]. But then we will check day-by-day and see.”
Lisandro Martinez - Out
Martinez will be out until 2026 with another serious knee injury. Ruben Amorim has said: “Licha is a difficult situation. He's going to be out for a while. We don't know the extent of the injury, but it's an injury that is going to take time.”
Joshua Zirkzee - Out
Amorim has confirmed Zirkzee is out for the season, explaining: “So, he’s not going to play more this season. Let’s prepare him for the next one. It’s tough, especially in this moment. I think he’s improving in all aspects of the game, so it’s hard for any player to stop.”
Diogo Dalot - Out
Dalot will be out until mid-to-late May with a lower leg injury. Amorim has said: “There is a possibility [that he may not play again this season], but I don't know. We will check week-by-week, because he can recover quite well. He has a problem with the muscle in his calf.”

Hide AdAyden Heaven - Out
Speaking in late April, Amorim simply said: “Ayden is not ready.” He may return from his ankle issue here, but Heaven’s situation is unclear.
Toby Collier - Doubt
Amorim said in April: “Toby has a small issue in his leg, so we hope to have him in a few weeks.” Collier has been training of late, so he may have an outside chance of returning.
Jonny Evans - Out
The United website has confirmed that Evans is being ‘carefully managed’ and it is not clear when he will return.
Michail Antonio - Out
Antonio will not return this season, and it is unclear when he will be fit enough to play after his leg break. Antonio has said previously: “Yes, 100 per cent, I will play again. Overall, they say it will be between six to 12 months before my leg starts healing properly.”
