Fraser Forster- 4

Strong handling and impressive goalkeeping in the first half. Could have done better with the Sheffield United goal after trying to save with his legs, he’ll be disappointed with that.

Ben Davies-5

The Welsh man looks to be playing his best football at the moments. Quite comfortable playing as a left wing-back or as a left centre-back. Davies looked to always attack the Sheffield United defence. Not at fault for the goal.

Eric Dier- 5

Should have pressed and got tigher for the goal. Not his best night.

Davinson Sanchez-5

Interesting performance from Sanchez where he took up some really fascinating positions when Spurs were attacking. Defensively aggressive.

Ivan Perisic -5.5

Saw his flick from a corner saved by the Sheffield goalkeeper and made dangerous runs early in the second half. Faded as the game travelled on.

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg- 5

Fortunate not to have given away a goal in the first half after a misscommunication between himself and Dier but Forster made himself big to put off the striker. His ball winning and aggression was otherwise very good. Needs to work on his forward passes.

Pape Matar Sarr-5

Rushed tackle in the second half saw him booked but was generally good and recycled the ball well. Just needed to increase the speed of his decision making and forward passing.

Pedro Porro- 6

Still finding his feet after his winter move and did alright on the night. Nothing spectacular but stuck to his job and kept thing simple in the first half. Tried to force the issue in the second half where he was taking on shots.

Son Heung-min-4

Desperate to get on the score sheet, he was almost shooting at every given opportunity. clearly looking to rediscover his sparkling form of last campaign.

Richarlison-4

How did he not get a goal. His pressing was phenomenal and there is no doubting his attitude, just seems to be bereft of confidence in-front of goal. Sent a shot well wide in the second half when he should be hitting the target.

Lucas Moura-4

Looked really sharp for someone who has not played football in a while. Run the channels well and always looked to take his man on. Went on a run where he took out three player but just couldn’t get his shot.

Harry Kane -4

Not much impact from the bench. Sent a header wide late on.
