Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly admirers of Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr. The Hornets have managed to keep hold of their key winger over recent transfer windows but he has clubs watching him.

The Athletic claim Antonio Conte’s side are ‘still’ keeping tabs on his development at Vicarage Road but his current club have no plans to cash in on him this winter. The report adds that Crystal Palace have ‘monitored’ him for a while now, whilst Aston Villa saw a swoop for him collapse over the summer.

Spurs could see Sarr as someone to add more competition and depth to their attacking department in the long run. If Watford aren’t promoted from the Championship this season, it would be hard to see him staying for another campaign. Nottingham Forest have also been linked with him recently by The Mirror.

The 24-year-old, who went to the World Cup with Senegal last month, is one of the Hornets’ most prized assets and is currently looking to help them gain promotion back to the Premier League. He joined the Hertfordshire outfit back in 2019 from French club Rennes and has since made 112 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with 30 goals.

He is under contract with Slaven Bilic’s side until June 2024 and is a name for those of a Spurs persuasion to keep an eye over for. Meanwhile, Watford beat Blackpool 2-0 over the weekend to boost their push for promotion.
