Tottenham expected starting XI vs Liverpool: Antonio Conte goes all out in search of massive win at Anfield

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte knows that a defeat at Anfield might mean goodbye to Champions League.

Tottenham know that going to Anfield is not an easy task but the thirst for Champions League football is keeping the North London side determined to battle for all three points.

The Lillywhites are without Sergio Reguilon as confirmed by their manager Antonio Conte while Liverpool will not risk Roberto Firmino even though he is back in training.

Tottenham’s win at Manchester City gave Liverpool a fighting chance for the Premier League title and Pep Guardiola will hope that they can do to Liverpool what they did to them back in February.

For Liverpool it’s the march towards a majestic season where they are looking to win a quadruple having made it to the final of the Champions League, FA Cup and bagged the Carabao Cup already.

The game will be played under the lights at Anfield and Spurs have only one win in the last 27 attempts there but this time could be different.

South Korean forward Son Heung-min is on blistering form and his combination with Harry Kane continues to be the fuel that drives this Tottenham team.

Antonio Conte’s side are also used to big games and love playing against tough opponents even if their form on the road has been inconsistent this year.

Spurs ended a run of seven consecutive defeats versus the Reds in all competitions when the sides drew 2-2 in December.

Now they will hope to send a message to their north London rivals in chase for the top spot that they will be in the race till the last day.

So here is the team we expect Antonio Conte to go with that will cause the likes of Van Dijk and Trent problems.
