Tottenham boost as Premier League rival will be 'forced to sell' Ange Postecoglou's target to comply with PSR


Nottingham Forest will be forced to sell Tottenham target Callum Hudson-Odoi this summer as they race against time to submit their estimated profit and loss accounts to the Premier League, LondonWorld has been told.
Spurs signed Brennan Johnson for around £47.5 million from Forest last summer and are looking to return to the City ground for former Chelsea man Odoi who has resurrected his career in the Premier League under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Hide AdForest were deducted four points last season for breaching spending limits and were unsuccessful in an attempt to appeal the decision. The club avoided relegation by six points. All clubs will submit their financial statement by 30 June and the Premier League’s financial experts will then review with clubs allowed a loss of £105million over three seasons.
Football financial expert Kieran Maguire told i why Forest were punished this season despite the sale of Johnson to Spurs: “The Brennan Johnson sale is now included in this year’s figures.

Tottenham eyeing Odoi
Spurs manager Postecoglou is a big fan of Odoi but the deal is also hinged on what the club decide to do with Timo Werner who joined on loan from German club RB Leipzig and played 13 times scoring two goals.

Hide AdThey also have a decision to make on youngster Bryan Gil who is expected to leave the club and return to Spain at some point this summer. Odoi is desperate to play in Europe and will love the idea of returning to London where he was born and came through the academy at Chelsea.
The transfer window doesn't officially open till the 14th of July but expect more details on this transfer in the coming days.
