Steven Bergwijn told LondonWorld that Spurs’ success in scoring two goals in the reverse fixture gave them confidence when heading to the North West.

Tottenham upgraded their stadium for big European nights, so Champions League football will be key to their future - especially if they hope to retain Conte and talisman Harry Kane.

The north London side have some key players that are on the treatment table, who will have to watch from the television and hope their teammates do the job.

So with Conte speaking to us later on today, here are the four players who are definitely out  of the game on Saturday.

The centre-back is ruled out for the rest of the season, but has gone through a successful surgery and is walking well without any aid.

He should be ready for the start of next season.

The Irish defender was flying for the first time since signing for Spurs just before his injury, but then disaster struck.

He will be out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury, which was very unfortunate for the wing back.

He is on track to return to the pitch just ahead of next season where they are expected to go on and challenge for bigger things.

The midfielder is seen as the future of Spurs and started the season on fire, leading the midfield at a time when the club was finding it hard to find consistency.

After Conte took over he continued to play well, but suffered what has turned out to be a really bad injury.

Skipp’s injury didn’t initially look bad, and it was reported that he would make several returns throughout the season, however he kept suffering setbacks.

He was flown out to America for surgery, and is out for the rest of the season.

This was an unfortunate end to what had started as a promising campaign.

Sergio Reguilon

The left back has suffered niggling injury and looks likely to miss the Liverpool clash.

The former Real Madrid man has not trained all week and is unlikely to be included in the trip to Anfield.

There are reports that he could need around a month to recover from the stubborn groin injury which won’t go away.

If that was true, he will be out for the rest of the season like his defensive comrades.
