Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou will look to get the pressure off his back when they host relegation-threatened Burnley this weekend.
Tottenham’s preparation for the game has been hit with news that forward Richarlison who scored and assisted another goal against Liverpool last weekend has another injury after being left out of Brazil’s squad for the Copa America.
Brazil coach Dorival Jr said after leaving out the Spurs striker from his squad: "Richarlison has a calf injury. It has not yet been made official by the club, but we contacted the player and he informed us."
Spurs boss Postecoglou also now has to decide if he keeps the underperforming Emerson Royal at left-back or bring in midfielder Oliver Skipp who he admits has been working all week.
A defeat at home will scale the pressure on Postecoglou but a win will all but condemn Burnley to relegation and keep Spurs in the hunt for Champions League football for next season.
A number of the Tottenham players are likely to be playing for their future in the final games of the campaign, so expect some form of reaction after what has been an undeniably poor last four games that has threatened to derail all the progress made this season.
Chelsea are looking strong in seventh having won two of their last three games while Newcastle in sixth could still also finish in fifth if they can win their remaining games and Spurs continue to drop points.
So with that in mind, this is the team we anticipate Ange Postecoglou is likely to name for the game.
