Club set ‘laughable’ bargain price for Tottenham target, Chelsea want £45m midfielder ‘above all’

Tottenham Hotspur return to action this weekend against Arsenal.

Spurs are currently third in the table, with 17 points from their first seven matches, but could move top with a win, depending on results elsewhere.

For their part, the Gunners occupy the summit with 18 points, and will have their sights set on opening up a gap on Mikel Arteta’s side with a positive result against their bitter rivals.
