QPR face crunch talks behind-the-scenes at the club with several first team players set to see contracts expire at the end of the campaign.
While some departures and extra space on the wage bill are inevitable, the likes of Sinclair Armstrong, Chris Willock and Asmir Begovic are first team mainstays that would leave gaps needing to be filled. Meanwhile, the club has confirmed that Championship legend Albert Adomah will leave the club.
Ahead of the highly anticipated release list at the end of the season, LondonWorld looks at how the seven players who left at the end of the previous campaign have got on since departing Loftus Road.
1. Chris Martin
Entered into discussions with QPR to renew his contract last summer but nothing came to fruition. Ended up signing for Bristol Rovers and has plundered 16 league goals this season, making him the club's top scorer. 2. Luke Amos
Amos was linked with Reading after his release but a move didn't materialise. He had to wait a while for a club and trained with the Spurs under-23 set-up. He eventually signed an 18 month deal with Hibernian in January but has endured injuries. | Getty Images Photo: Getty Images
3. Leon Balogun
Returned to Rangers when released from QPR. Normally finds himself on the bench as the club competes for the league title. | Getty Images
4. Olamide Shodipo
Signed for Lincoln City last October on a short-term contract as the club suffered injuries. Didn't extend that contract in January and moved on to Liga Portugal 2 side Feirense. | Getty Images
