Leeds United v Millwall team news with 1 doubt and 9 outs including record signing

Millwall make the trip to Leeds United buoyed by a 2-1 win over Watford last weekend as Alex Neil looks to find a repeat of February’s FA Cup heroics.
The Lions pulled off a 2-0 win over Daniel Farke’s side with Femi Azeez at the double in that match to knock the Whites out of the tournament. Millwall also beat the Championship league leaders in November with a 1-0 win at The Den.

Hide AdSpeaking ahead of the game, Leeds United boss Farke said: “I spoke about quite highly Alex Neil, a very experienced Championship manager, his handwriting is always obvious. It’s difficult to beat them, they are resilient and brave. They have a decent away record, we need to be at our best and we need to find our goalscoring boots again. We have to stay pretty pretty focused.”

Leeds United team news
Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford was ‘part-integrated’ back into team training last week having injured him hamstring on New Year’s Day, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. Daniel Farke, however, has said it will be a while before the talisman returns to full fitness but an expected return date is not yet known.
Captain Etham Ampadu isn’t expected back before the international break due to a knee injury and could yet miss the rest of the season if surgery is needed. Max Wober is expected to return after the break so will miss out against Millwall. Speaking in his press conference, Farke said: “One or two knocks and bruises but nothing to be overly concerned about, it will be more or less the same squad.”
Doubts - Patrick Bamford. Outs - Ethan Ampadu, Max Wober.

Millwall goalkeeper Liam Roberts, who is usually second choice in the Championship, won’t be in the squad against Leeds United as he serves the third of a six game extended ban handed to him by the FA following his horror challenge on Crystal Palace striker Jean-Phillipe Mateta.
The Lions made a club record signing in January when recruiting Camiel Neghli but the winger picked up an ankle problem against the Eagles. It’s expected that the injury will take around six weeks to heal.
Macaulay Langstaff hasn’t played since the start of February and suffered a recent setback. Neil said: “Langstaff not available at the moment. He has not been on the grass recently. He was training last week, had a little setback and then from there he’s been out.”
Zak Lovelace is out for the rest of the season after an operation. Ryan Leonard has a ‘significant calf injury’ and so too has Danny McNamara. Liverpool loanee Callum Scanlon is back at his parent club Liverpool following a significant injury.
