The Hoops and Lions record first wins of the season with three Millwall stars featuring in the Team of the Week

Week four of the Championship 2024/25 season did not disappoint with plenty of goals and cards to keep the drama of the EFL second-tier alive.

It was a triumphant weekend for two of London’s clubs with both Queens Park Rangers and Millwall securing victories over Luton Town and Sheffield Wednesday respectively. QPR responded well to an early own goal as they went on to beat the Hatters 2-1 on their own turf and recorded their first win over the season.

Meanwhile, Millwall also secured their first three points of the campaign as they brushed past the Owls with a 3-0 win at Den Park to put themselves 15th in the league. In fact, their performance against the Owls was evidently so impressive, that three of their match-winning stars have made it into the Championship Team of the Week.

It was not to be for Watford, however, as they were subjected to a 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane but, as this marks only their first drop of points of the season, they are still sitting third in the league with only Sunderland and West Brom above them.

Based on the ratings from the EFL-rated statistics site WhoScored.com, here are the eleven Championship stars who make up this week’s Team of the Week...
