Mikel Arteta makes Arsenal contract statement and hopes David Moyes can 'fulfil' dream
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta remains optimistic that West Ham can spring a surprise against Manchester City on Sunday.

Hide AdThe Gunners go into the final game of the Premier League season needing to beat Everton at Emirates Stadium this weekend, while City would need to either lose or draw against the Hammers for Arteta’s side to win their first league title in over two decades.
"[The optimism is shared all ] around the building. Jesus - we are in the last day of the season playing for the Premier League trophy, which has not been at the Emirates which was built 20 years ago.
"The trophy is going to be there, it's possible. We have to do our duty then hope what happens. Let's wish that's the case."

Hide AdAsked whether he has sent a message to West Ham boss David Moyes ahead of Sunday’s game, Arteta said:
"I don't think I need to do that. He's been instrumental and so important in my career, as a footballer and a person. He could help us to fulfil our dream and my personal dream to win the Premier League."
Meanwhile, with one year left on his contract LondonWorld understands Arteta is expected to put pen to paper on an extension once the season ends.
The Spaniard remains fully focused on ending the campaign on a high and admits talks will resume this summer.
