Highlights details

Highlights of this game will be available on Sky Sports’ channels, as well as the clubs’ official YouTube channels from early on Monday morning.

Match of the Day 2 will have extended highlights of the game, broadcasting at 10.30pm Sunday night on BBC One. Just remember that this weekend’s Match of the Day shows are without presenters and pundits, due to pundits standing by presenter Gary Lineker, who was asked to step aside over his political comments. Commentary will also be provided by Premier League World Feed rather than the usual Match of the Day commentators for the same reason.

What Marco Silva has said

Speaking about his side’s impressive efforts ahead of facing Arsenal, Silva has said: “This season is probably one of the most important seasons for us. It’s really important for us to remain in the Premier League and to start being consistent in this division. Of course, we are really pleased with our season so far. We keep adapting every single week for the challenge. The league position and results are a consequence of that.

“The players have been brilliant. They are always open and ready to go again - even when, in some moments, we don’t have our best game - they are ready to listen and learn. The Premier League demands so much. You must be able to [deliver] every single week and we are not surprised [by our success] but we are not really focused on our league position right now - we believe in ourselves and still have much more room for improvement.

“I’m giving every credit to the players and all of us at this football club, we have to be proud - but we have 12 more games to play.”

What Mikel Arteta has said

Speaking about Silva and Fulham, Arteta has said: “I think that their strength is the idea of the manager which is very clear.

“He has been very successful over the past years here at the club. Their game plan, of course, we watched many of the matches against Tottenham, against the big teams in Portugal and tomorrow it will be a very difficult game. It’s a very competitive team with a clear game plan and we need to be at our best.”
