Jesus recently returned to full training and has been named among the substitutes for the game at Craven Cottage, with Leandro Trossard passed fit to start the game.

“The experience he has. He’s a huge player for us. He’s changed our dynamic, he’s changed our belief and it’s great to have him back.”

Gunners boss Arteta has a number of options to choose from on his substitutes bench including Reiss Nelson, Emile Smith Rowe, Jorginho and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli.
