Fulham are reportedly expected to seal a deal to sign Manor Solomon soon.

The winger is poised to leave Shakhtar Donetsk to join the London club.

As per a report by West London Sport, the player is with the Cottagers’ squad at their pre-season training camp in Portugal.

His move will be ‘rubber-stamped’ soon as Marco Silva bids to add another attacker to his ranks.

Going back two weeks ago, The Athletic reported that Fulham’s move for Solomon would be an initial loan deal.

His contract with his current club expires in 2023.

Solomon has been on the books of Shakhtar Donetsk since January 2019 and has been a key player for the Ukrainian side since then.

He has made 109 appearances in all competitions and has chipped in with 23 goals from the wing.

Prior to his switch to the Ukrainian Premier League, he had been a first-team regular for Maccabi Petah Tikva.

Fulham have brought in midfielder Joao Palpinha from Sporting Lisbon and attacking midfielder Andreas Pereira so far from Manchester United this summer.

They stormed to the Championship title last term under Silva and need to ensure they get their recruitment right in this window to avoid a campaign of struggle in the top flight.

In other news regarding the Cottagers, they were beaten 5-1 by Benfica in a friendly over the weekend. Striker Aleksander Mitrovic scored their only goal as they suffered a hefty loss at the hands of the Portuguese giants.
