'Medical booked' - Wolves swoop to land £18.5m Fulham target in marquee signing
Wolves are edging ever closer to completing the signing of Fluminense midfielder Andre before the summer transfer window slams shut in a marquee signing that will signal the end of longstanding Fulham interest in the midfielder.
The Midlands outfit, who are enjoying a flurry of activity ahead of Deadline Day, are 'close to agreeing' a €22 million fee with the Brazilian side according to The Athletic - which is equivalent to around £18.5 million. Add-ons of €3 million or £2.5 million are also expected to be included in the deal.

Andre is widely considered to be one of the most promising midfield prospects in world football having come through the Fluminense academy. The 23-year-old has made 197 appearances for the side, winning the Copa Libertadores and Recopa Sudamericana.
The player had been set to compete in the Copa America this summer for Brazil but picked up an injury which sidelined him from international action. The Athletic does tease that there are 'other clubs still interested' in the player which has Wolves 'cautious' about the final stages of their deal.
Fulham have been linked with a move for Andre for almost a year with a deal appearing to be on the verge of confirmation in January. The Cottagers also made a £21 million offer for the player this summer having lost Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich but since moved on to Emile Smith-Rowe and Sander Berge as targets.
