Fulham in talks over £20m transfer deal for Sheffield United ace as hunt for midfield additions takes fresh turn

Latest news on the transfer front involving Fulham emerges

Fulham are reportedly in discussions with Sheffield United ace Sander Berge as they look to lure the Norway international to Craven Cottage. The January transfer window shuts on Tuesday evening.

It has been a quiet month so far for Marco Silva’s side but they are expected to be busy up until the deadline as they look to bolster their midfield department. LondonWorld understands they are also hopeful of bringing in Arsenal right-back Cedric Soares too.

According to reporter Kaveh Solhekol on Twitter (see tweet below), Fulham are in ‘talks’ with Berge over a potential £20million plus add-ons deal. He has been a key player at Bramall Lane over the past few seasons but they could now be poised to lose him to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old joined the Blades back in 2020 from Genk and has since made 82 appearances in all competitions for the Yorkshire club, chipping in with 12 goals. He has helped them rise to 2nd place in the Championship this term.

Fulham are looking a few different options as they eye reinforcements in the middle of the park. As reported by the Daily Mail, they in pursuit of Torino and Serbia starlet Sasa Lukic and are also keen on Fluminense’s Andre.
