Fulham boss Marco Silva has admitted Antonee Robinson is a doubt for tomorrow’s clash against Nottingham Forest.

The left-back was taken off last time out against Tottenham Hotspur and will be assessed before the Cottagers take on Steve Cooper’s side.

Robinson, 25, has played every league game so far this season and may well be replaced by new signing Layvin Kurzawa.

When asked about his situation, Silva told the official club website:

“Still in doubt. It will be difficult, I have to be honest.

“But we have some more hours until the game and we have to check him, like we have been doing every single day, to take the decision.

“It’s not really serious, and because of that we are testing every day how he feels.

“It’s something that could be one or two days, [that’s] the feedback that I received from the medical staff.

“We need to check again because he doesn’t feel really comfortable yet, but I think soon we will have Robinson again.”

Fulham have been without Harry Wilson so far this term and Silva has said he is ‘still far’ away from returning.

The Wales international scored 11 goals in all competitions in the last campaign to help the London club storm to the Championship title.

His manager has said:

“Still far. We would like to have good news soon, but he’s still far. He’s still doing individual work with [Head of Performance] Bruno Mendes.

“He’s much more involved, it’s good to see him on the pitch already, but just doing individual work, not many things on the ball, and it will take more time.”

Fulham have made a steady start to life back in the top flight and have won two, drawn two and lost two.

Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, have only won once and are still waiting for their new-look squad to gel together.
