Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz is reportedly wanted by Real Vallodolid. The Brazilian is currently on loan in the Middlesbrough but has struggled to make an impact in the Championship so far this season.

According to journalist Fabricio Lopes on Twitter, Vallodolid will make a ‘loan proposal’ for the forward this winter. The La Liga side are owned by former Real Madrid, AC Milan and Barcelona forward Ronaldo and are looking to sharpen their attacking options ahead of the second-half of the campaign.

Muniz, 21, was signed by Fulham in August 2021 to add more competition and depth up top as they won promotion from the second tier in his first year at the club. He chipped in with five goals in all competitions last term under Marco Silva but was given the green light to head out the exit door in August when Boro came calling.

However, the former Flamengo man has only found the net twice in 16 matches and has now slipped down the pecking order following the arrival of Aston Villa striker Cameron Archer at the Riverside this month. As a result, he could now head back to Craven Cottage and temporarily switch to Spain instead for a change of scene.

Vallodolid are 15th in the table after the first 15 games and only won promotion last year. They are currently the home to ex-Swansea City midfielder Roque Mesa and former Birmingham City winger Ivan Sanchez.
