Hide AdGuehi remains committed
Marc Guehi is said to have taken a rather mature stance over his current situation after being denied a move away from Selhurst Park this summer. Guehi was the subject of multiple Newcastle United bids worth more than £65million.
Eagles chief Steve Parish stood by his £70million valuation and reportedly upped the asking price to £75million late in the window, pricing Newcastle out of a move. But far from throwing his toys out of the pram, Guehi did not push for a transfer, and HITC report that the centre-back remains fully focused on his current form with Palace and England and if he has any frustrations over the failed transfer, he will not make it known to his current employers.
Rabiot ‘rejects’ deal
Newcastle United have been linked with a move for France international Adrien Rabiot following the closure of the transfer window. Rabio remains a free agent despite having been linked with clubs aplenty around Europe.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Rabiot has now rejected an offer from AC Milan amid linked with Newcastle, handing the Magpies a potential boost should they move to sign the former Bayern Munich man.

Hide AdUgarte on his fitness
New Manchester United signing Manuel Ugarte has issued an update on his fitness as he prepares to make his Red Devils debut after the break. During international duty with Uruguay, he told reporters: “I haven't played many minutes since the season started, but physically I feel very good, I prepared myself and I’m always ready.
"Every minute is important to recover and push myself before the match against Paraguay. It's a shame because I would have loved to enjoy the atmosphere [at Old Trafford against Liverpool] and the result is also a shame, but I'll have time to enjoy Old Trafford."
