Wharton rumours

Arsenal are said to have held ‘internal talks’ over the possible signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. Wharton has been a sensation since arriving from Blackburn Rovers, going on to become an England international.

The Eagles are not going to want to sell any time soon, while there are questions over whether Arsenal will spend more on their midfield having already invested heavily in that position. CaughtOffside say Wharton is of interest to the Gunners, who would have to pay more than £50million.

Antonio latest

West Ham have been tipped to offload Michail Antonio in the January transfer window, but one Claret and Hugh source is disputing that claim. Antonio is out of contract in the summer, and reports have suggested the Hammers could attempt to get a fee for him in January.

But the fresh report suggests West Ham do see Antonio in their near future plans, and they also have a one-year extension option in their back pocket.

Bradley blow

Liverpool star Conor Bradley looks as though he could be set for a spell on the sidelines. Bradley was superb against Real Madrid on Wednesday night, taking care of Kylian Mbappe at Anfield.

But he later picked up an injury, and reports have claimed Bradley is now set for around a month on the sidelines, which is a big blow for the Reds as they look to maintain their Premier League title charge.
