Crystal Palace 4 - 0 Everton: Player ratings & man of the match as Zaha and Olise star to reach Wembley

Crystal Palace beat Everton to reach the FA Cup semi-final for the first time since 2016.

Crystal Palace produced a stunning performance to beat Everton 4-0 and reach the semi-final of the FA Cup at Selhurst Park.

Goals from Marc Guehi, Philippe Mateta, Wilfried Zaha and substitute Will Hughes sealed a one sided encounter in south London.

The win means Patrick Vieira’s side have only lost just once in their last 10 games and will go to Wembley with genuine hopes of making the finals.

Heroes

Jean-Philippe Mateta- The French striker has completely turned his fortunes around at Selhurst and he is now turning into a fan favourite.

Big, strong, yet very mobile, he led the line well and took his goal brilliantly to ensure Palace had a two goal lead going into the second half.

Having just signed a new contract in January, his confidence is off the roof at the moment and he is showing that he has what it takes to be a success at this level. Great player.

Marc Gueh- The young English defender signed off for the international break with a goal that took Palace into the semi-final of the FA Cup.

He started the game quite slowly but after he scored, he made some strong interceptions and just looked unbeatable from then. Growing on and off the pitch and the Palace fans will love to have him here for many years to come. Unreal again.

Wilfried Zaha- The Ivorian forward finally got his goal but even before that, was a pain for the entire Everton backline.

Has looked a different player since returning from the AFCON and his strong form now has fans dreaming of going all the way in this season’s FA Cup. He was everywhere today.

Villains

There were no villains as every Palace player was on top of his game. Below are the player ratings.
