Hide AdMarcos Baron - Out
Baron is sidelined until the spring with a hamstring injury. Andoni Iraola has said: “Marcos' injury is a surgery. When you have a muscle injury, and they take the decision to go to the surgeon, it’s because it’s a big one. It’s his quad, but in the end 3-4 months normally is what it takes... it’s difficult to be less than this.”
Julian Araujo - Out
Araujo will be out until February time with a thigh injury.
Alex Scott - Out
Scott is expected to be out until some time in January. Iraola said: “He trained [after Arsenal], but after training, he was feeling pain. He went [for] the MRI, and we could see a meniscus [tear]. The doctors decided [it] could be repaired. [It will be] definitely more than six weeks, but I don’t know how much.”
Luis Sinisterra - Out
Sinisterra is likely to return from his hamstring injury early in the new year. Iraola has said: “Sinisterra continues his rehab, and we have one or two players with small things, but I hope they are available for tomorrow.”
Marcus Tavernier - Out
Tavernier is out, and it’s unclear when he will return. Iraola said: “Tav is different. It’s another muscle injury, and he will be out for some weeks. I don’t know how long, but it’s not a big one in Marcos' case.”

Hide AdMatheus Franca - Out
Franca is out until around February time with a groin injury. Oliver Glasner has said: “If a player is injured for eight months, he needs one month/six weeks to train constantly with the team. He also needs a few games with the U21s to get in shape. There’s no chance of seeing him until the middle or end of Feb.”
Adam Wharton - Out
Wharton is likely to return in mid-January, with Glasner saying: “There are so many muscles there, and we haven’t been able to get them under control at the moment so that he is pain-free. This is what we are trying. It’s difficult to say it's 'two weeks', it's 'four weeks'. But we need him back.”
Eberechi Eze - Doubt
Eze is a doubt but he should be back after missing the Arsenal game. Glasner has said: “So, Ebs is unavailable. He played with quite a swollen foot at the Emirates and also got [a] kick there. So, he is not 100 per cent. It makes sense that he gets a rest and hopefully will be available for Bournemouth.”
Chadi Riad - Out
Riad is close to returning but will need some minutes in his legs both in training and in under-21s games before he is ready after a long layoff.
Umeh-Chibueze is out with what is believed to be a hamstring injury.
