Trevoh Chalobah latest as Chelsea desperately try to find a deadline day solution amid Wolves interest

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah will not be rushed into making a decision on his next move, even if that means staying put for the next four months to get things right. The defender has been informed that he is surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge in a move meant to get him off the wage bill and sell him for pure profit, and it’s been made clear that those not training with Enzo Maresca’s team will not play, even if they fail to secure moves elsewhere.
Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling are in the same situation, having found out on the eve of the new season that they were no longer part of the plans going forward. Sources close to Chalobah have told LondonWorld that the player is calm and open to a move if a good deal is offered between now and when the window shuts tonight.

LondonWorld has also been informed that some members of the Chelsea board have been impressed with the way Chalobah has handled everything that has been thrown at him. He has turned up for training every day, adhered to his contractual obligations, and not made life uncomfortable for anyone.
Another deal to keep an eye on before the window closes is Chelsea potentially making a late move for Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho. He is well-known and liked by Joe Shields, Chelsea’s head of scouting, who previously worked at Manchester City where he built a brilliant scouting network and brought talents like Sancho through.
The forward is reportedly keen on the move, but it remains to be seen if Chelsea can structure a deal that meets United’s valuation of the player.
