They are still likely to be  without some key players including Wesley Fofana, N’Golo Kante and Ben Chilwell, but Reece James could make a return after recovering from the injury which ruled him out of the World Cup.

Bournemouth went into the World Cup break in 14th on the league table, a massive improvement on their start to the campaign where they were bottom of the table. They are still not totally out of the woods, but there are improvements.

They impressively beat Everton before the break and will now hope to cause a damaging blow to their more wealthy opponents at the Bridge this evening.

Bournemouth have scored eight goals in their last three Premier League games, as many as they had in their previous 11 combined. The Cherries are looking to score plus goals in three consecutive league games for the first time since November 2014.

Raheem Sterling endured a difficult World Cup where he lost his starting spot in the English team and his family suffered a robbery attack. The former Manchester City man travelled back home and back to Qatar before the Three Lions eventually crashed out to France at the quarter final stage.

The English striker will now look to get back to his best at club level and Bournemouth, his favourite opponent are next. Sterling has scored nine goals in his nine Premier League appearances against Bournemouth, including his first ever hat-trick in the competition back in October 2015. Against no side has he scored more often in league football.
