Chelsea’s transfer record has varied over the last couple of years, with players joining on big fees and enjoying varying degrees of success - or indeed failure. There have been some impressive signings, including the likes of Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Malo Gusto among others, while some have failed to make the cut.

So far, the winger has scored just five goals in 49 league appearances from out wide, and he has generally struggled to manage any sort of consistency, something Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has not been afraid to highlight.
“I don’t think it’s a lack of confidence. Misha is Misha, you have to accept the way he is. Hopefully he can get minutes and do better,” Maresca said recently. Maresca has been ruthless in dropping out of form players, and Mudryk has certainly fallen into that category.
There has been talk of the winger moving on, although many other reports suggest the Blues are not ready to give up on their huge investment. Fichajes have now reported that Liverpool might be willing to make a cheeky offer worth £24.9million upfront with potential add-ons worth £16.6million in a bid to finally get their hands on the Ukrainian, who was a target for them before he joined Chelsea.

It’s for that reason a deal would not be likely, but with Maresca remaining critical and few signs of progress, you do have to wonder how long Chelsea will wait, especially if the winger’s value continues to fall.
There has also been a report from Football Insider that Mudryk is considering leaving due to falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
