Leicester City are in need of a morale-boosting win when they host Chelsea at the King Power Stadium this weekend in the Premier League.

The Foxes suffered a surprise defeat to relegation threatened Southampton and now have the task of punching a Chelsea side who will arrive at the King Power buoyed by their first back-to-back victories of the year after beating Leeds United and Dortmund.

Graham Potter’s side also scored two goals in a game for the first time this year in the 2-0 win over Dortmund and will hope that they have now turned the corner after what has been a difficult period for the club since the English manager took over the club last September.

Defender Wesley Fofana will make his first return to the King Power after leaving for Chelsea in the summer.

LondonWorld.com understands that Leicester fans will not give him a great reception due to the nature of his exit with most not too pleased with the fact that he downed tools to force the club to sell him in the summer.

Fofana failed to turn up for training and was at some point in working with the developmental team as the move to Chelsea steamed up and culminated in the £70 million deal that took in to west London.

The 22-year-old missed the last three games for Leicester as he claimed his head was not in the right place before sending a message on Instagram to thank fans and his manager after his exit.

According to some strong LondonWorld.com sources- the defender is set for hostile afternoon when he takes to the pitch at the King Power.

Fofana’s manager, Graham Potter who enjoyed his finest night as Chelsea dominated and beat dortmund though is hoping they can now go on a a good streak and climb the Premier League table.

Potter told BT SPORTS: “Simply, we just have to recover and prepare for Saturday.

“We play Leicester on Saturday so that’s where we have to do our work, but it’s great for the boys - two wins, two clean sheets after a tough period.”

Chelsea are 10th on the league table but the fact that they have progressed to the last eight of the Champions League has bought their manager time to be able to implement his ideas in the team.
