Fulham Player of the Season Antonee Robinson has opened up on transfer interest in his services.

Chelsea and Liverpool will have had their ears pricked by a transfer admission made by impressive Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson after a head-turning campaign at Craven Cottage.

The USA international was one of the standout stars in Marco Silva's squad this season, turning in consistent and full-blooded performances at left-back for the club. Robinson started 37 of the 38 top-flight matches for the side, registering six assists from defence.

It was no surprise to see the 26-year-old named Player of the Season at the London outfit this week and the Fulham faithful will be hoping for more seasons to come from the star, who is believed to be contracted at the club until 2028 having signed a long-term deal last summer.

Despite that new contract, Robinson had been linked with a move away from Fulham over the past season. GiveMeSport reported that Chelsea were one of the Premier League sides watching the defender with Real Madrid and Manchester United also sniffing around a supposed £35 million deal.

Reports of a move away from Fulham appeared to have quietened down since earlier in 2024 but, in a new interview with The Athletic, Robinson admitted that the club might be forced to listen to an offer if a sizeable bid came in.

He said: “I signed the deal because I was very happy at Fulham. I want to keep on developing, I’m very settled here, I love the club. It wasn’t a difficult decision to sign. Interest from other people is great... Obviously, it comes down to if someone wanted me enough to pay what Fulham would want, and if Fulham saw that as a good idea, then I’d leave.

“But until that happens, and I have no idea if it would, I’m just looking forward to the Copa and then starting next year with Fulham — pushing on, and trying to help the team get to even better finishing spots.”
