Chelsea goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe is on the radar of both Bolton Wanderers and Doncaster Rovers, according to Football League World. He has spent this campaign on loan with the latter under the guidance of Grant McCann. The stopper helped the Yorkshire club win the League Two title and secure promotion to League One.
Sharman-Lowe, 22, is due to return to Stamford Bridge this summer and the Blues have a big decision to make on what to do with him next. He joined his parent club back in 2020 but is yet to make a senior appearance. Prior to his move there, he had spells at Leicester City and Burton Albion.
The England youth international was given the green light to link up with Doncaster in May last year to get some experience under his belt. He made the number one spot his own there and played 51 matches altogether, 46 of which came in the league. They want him back but face fresh competition from Bolton, who has recently released ex-Chelsea player Nathan Baxter so need a replacement.
What now for Teddy Sharman-Lowe and Chelsea?
Chelsea will be weighing up his options and will decide what is best. As well as Doncaster, he has also spent time away on loan at Burton, Havant & Waterlooville and Bromley to boost his development. He penned a new deal last year meaning he still has time left on his contract.

Hide AdSpeaking after their recent victory over Bradford, McCann said: “Teddy has been exceptional for us in what has been his first EFL loan. He made two magnificent saves today and I fancied him with the penalty because of the energy that was around the stadium.”
Chelsea will hope to get another three points against Newcastle this weekend. They beat Liverpool last time out in the league. Ahead of their clash against the Toon Army, Maresca has said: “They (Newcastle) are very aggressive, especially when we are on our side, they go man-to-man. When they are on their side, they are medium block, but physically they are very strong and aggressive. I hope [it brings out the best of us]. We have played teams who play low block and teams who try to be aggressive, we have had good games in both situations.
“After the Liverpool game, someone said to me we played the same XI for the first time in six months,’ he continued. It’s important if you can continue with the same players. Hopefully, on Sunday, we can have a good game.”
