Chelsea striker Jude Soonsup-Bell has reportedly spoken to Manchester City about a potential switch to the current Premier League champions. The prospect is facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge this winter as he weighs up what to do next.

As detailed in a report by the Evening Standard, he has held ‘talks’ over a move to the Etihad Stadium. However, he is said to be ‘more interested’ in heading overseas as he looks to kick-start his career in the game which could be a stumbling block for City.

Soonsup-Bell, who is 19-years-old, sees his contract at Chelsea expire at the end of the season and he is due to become available this summer. The Athletic claimed earlier this month that he has decided to leave already though and he could head out the exit door before the end of the January transfer window, with the deadline next week.

He started out at Swindon Town before joining the Blues in 2016. The England youth international has since risen up through the ranks and made his first and only senior appearance in December 2021 in a cup clash against Brentford.

In other Chelsea news, winger Hakeem Ziyech remains on AC Milan’s radar, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Morocco international’s situation is up in the air at the moment.
