Chelsea put together a frantic summer transfer window.
Deadline day is over, and another transfer window has come to an end, ending a chaotic few months for the Blues.
In the end, the Blues managed to fill them, but they left it until the very last day, setting up a pretty dramatic deadline day.
Here we round up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.
Fofana opens up on move
Chelsea’s signing of Wesley Fofana was a complicated one.
Fofana ended up joining the Blues on a deal worth a reported £72million, but the deal was drawn out due to an unusual medical.
The medical is said to have taken 10 hours in total, with the Blues very cautious due to Fofana’s serious ankle injury last summer.
Speaking about the move, Fofana told L’Equipe: “I told myself that I was going to realise one of my dreams: to play in one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“I chose with my family and my agents to 100% go there. They managed without any stress and explained the steps to me clearly, and even the not so nice moments where the club was going to shout at me a bit.”
Chelsea are already said to be lining up a target ready for January.
According to the Evening Standard, the Blues are not giving up on RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol despite reportedly having a £77million offer rejected.
The report claims the Blues could return with a fresh bid in January as they continue to look for a long-term replacement for Thiago Silva.
Though, a deal won’t be easy to pull off given Gbardiol has recently signed a new long-term deal.
