The Chelsea player ratings from their game against Gent in the Europa Conference League game

Chelsea recorded their fifth straight win on the trot with a 4-2 victory over Gent in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night. Enzo Maresca was up and down the touchline as his side produced a comprehensive second-half display to put their Belgian visitors to bed. Goals from Renato Veiga (his first at the club), Pedro Neto, Christopher Nkunku, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall 9first goal for the club) meant Tsuyoshi Watanabe’s and Omri Gandelman’s strike ended up being a consolation goal.

Here is how we rated the Blues as they secured three straight home wins in all competitions:

Filip Jörgensen -

Very impressive with the ball at his feet. Not at fault for the goals he conceded.

Renato Veiga - 9

This guy was everywhere. He looks like a brilliant signing and has so much passion. He plays the game like a warrior.

Benoit Badiashile - 5

Not that he was at fault for the goal, but he again looked a little slow. Overall, a decent game.

Tosin Adarabioyo - 7

Calm and authoritative, he was always a threat from set pieces throughout the game.

Axel Disasi - 8

The captain of the side. This would have been a very proud moment for him, given that he almost left the club in the summer. He did well and maintained his form. He would be happy with the assist he provided.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 7

Missed a very good chance in the first half where he should have scored but used the ball quite well. He will be delighted with what was his first Chelsea goal.

Cesare Casadei - 7

Best showing in a Chelsea shirt; he was very comfortable coming to get the ball and starting the build-up.

Pedro Neto - 7

He had a quiet first half but came alive to score a brilliant goal that gave Chelsea a 2-0 lead.

João Félix - 7

It’s easy to see that he has something special, whether it’s a touch or just the way he plays, but you also felt there was another level he could reach.

Christopher Nkunku - 8

Brilliant goal and continued the tradition of scoring every time he’s started a game this season.

Mykhailo Mudryk - 7

Would be delighted with the assist and looked really bright in the first half.

Forceful and willing. Just didn’t get the opportunity.

Quiet cameo was what it turned out to be.
