Chelsea have earned a reputation as the Premier League's big spenders in recent seasons, having blown huge amounts on new players.
The Blues splurged a combined £221 million on midfielders Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez last year and have been linked with spending lofty amounts on stars across the continent this summer.
However, so far this window, it has been a more cautious approach at Stamford Bridge. Tosin Adarabioyo has arrived from Fulham to bolster the Chelsea defence on a free transfer and the £30 million paid for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall looks a good investment as the midfielder comes to work with Maresca once again.
