Chelsea are said to be one of the clubs interested in a move for Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap this month. The Blues have been linked with Delap previously as they potentially look to repeat their Cole Palmer trick in signing a former Manchester City academy graduate.
Christopher Nkunku has been tipped to leave Chelsea this month having struggled for game time, and according to Fabrizio Romano, Delap could be his replacement. Although, a deal would likely be relatively pricey given Ipswich Town won’t want to lose their most dangerous player in the midst of a relegation battle.
Torino ‘confident’
Italian club Torino are said to have ‘high confidence’ of landing a Cesare Casadei after making a fresh offer for the midfielder. Torino have reportedly offered £8.5million plus a clause worth 40% of any sell-on fee for Chelsea.
Calciomercato.com say Torino are confident that will be enough to land Casadei this month, with the midfielder happy to move on to get regular game time. Chelsea paid around £12.5million for Casadei last summer, and this deal would allow them to recoup the majority of that investment, and they would be all-but guaranteed to make a profit in the long-term.

We have three or four players that are a doubt for Monday's game because in the last game they got some problems."
