Brentford are to make the unenviable trip to the reigning Premier League champions as they face Manchester City in the last Premier League gameweek before the six week break for the World Cup. Brentford are on the back of a humiliating defeat to League Two outfit Gillingham in the Carabao Cup.

Manchester City will aim to finish strong before the break. They still trail leaders Arsenal by two points, after briefly going back on top after their win against Fulham at the weekend.

The Citizens will also be monitoring the fitness of star striker Erling Haaland. Haaland has taken the league by storm since his arrival, but has been plagued by a slight injury problem in recent weeks.

In the league, Brentford are enduring their worst run of the season. Thomas Frank’s side haven’t won in their last four, with their last outing coming against Nottingham Forest, a game in which they conceded in the last minute.

The two teams last met at the beginning of February. Manchester City strolled past the Bees thanks to goals from Riyad Mahrez and Kevin De Bruyne.

When does Manchester City v Brentford kick off?

Manchester vs Brentford will kick off the Premier League action at the weekend. They will kick off at 12:30pm on Saturday, November 12 at the Etihad Stadium.
