Brentford have received a boost ahead of the game with defender Pontus Jansson back fit following his thigh injury. The former Leeds United man hasn’t played yet in 2023 but will give Thomas Frank another option at the back.

Midfielder Frank Onyeka is also available after returning to training. He has got game time with the B team over recent weeks and is now back.

However, second choice goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha remains out of action with an ankle problem. The summer recruit from Lazio is used as back-up to David Raya and youngster Matthew Cox will keep his place on the bench.

As for Fulham, winger Neeskens Kebano is a long-term absentee after suffering a ruptured Achilles earlier in this campaign. He is joined in the treatment room by left-back Layvin Kurzawa, who has a knee injury, and midfielder Tom Cairney. The latter is expected back in a couple of weeks.
