Arsenal and Chelsea have already been told what Dusan Vlahovic is looking for amid transfer links with the striker.
Vlahovic is being linked to leave Juventus in a surprise exit less than a year after he arrived from Fiorentina on a deal worth more than £70million. The striker was coveted during his Fiorentina days, with Arsenal pushing to sign him ahead of his decision to join Juventus.
Since then, the Serbian has not particularly impressed, scoring 16 times in 38 games. Of course, that is far from a disastrous statistsic, but Juventus seem to want more, and recent reports from Turin have suggested that Juve could move to recoup as much money as they can in the winter window, just a year after making the signing.
Arsenal have been linked again, which is not surprising given the past links and their heightened need for another striker following the injury suffered by Gabriel Jesus. Meanwhile, Chelsea have also been linked, with reports in Italy claiming they could be readying a big bid following the news that Armando Broja will miss the rest of the season.
Vlahovic may need some convincing to leave Italy, though, and as he showed in his last move, he does like to carefully consider his next destination. Fortunately, though, he has already told Arsenal and Chelsea what he looks for in a club.
Upon signing for Juventus, he said: “I am emotional and proud to have signed for Juventus. I am ready to give my all for this glorious club to reach its objectives.
“There were many rumours about foreign clubs, but the choice was easy because the club and I have a similar DNA. Fight and suffer when needed. I think it’s part of my mentality as well, so the choice was not difficult. I fit in here.”
