Reported Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko has been speaking about transfer links as he prepares for a Champions League date with Juventus. RB Leipzig have been handed a tough draw in the new group stage format, already losing to Atletico Madrid and still to face Juve, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Hide AdSesko has been a sensation for Leipzig after joining from sister club Salzburg in 2023, netting 16 goals in 36 league appearances and providing much more than just goals along the way. the dynamic forward continues to improve and continues to attract attention from around Europe.
He was said to have been a target for Arsenal and others early in the summer, but he surprised many by ending transfer speculation with the penning of a new contract that will last until 2029. Though, the right fee could see him move on next summer, when Arsenal are likely to return to the market for the striker.
Asked about transfer links in the build-up to Leipzig’s Juventus clash, Sesko told reporters: “I won’t comment on transfer speculations. I am happy in Leipzig, and for this reason, I’ve recently extended my contract. I want to make big things here, and Leipzig want to improve. I want to accompany the team on this intriguing path.”

Hide AdAsked about his development, he added: “Everything is needed. In the past, excelling in one aspect was enough. Now, you must be complete if you want to compete at the highest levels. You must think quickly as well. Football is so quick that you must read the action and use your body wisely.”
Asked about Juventus and Serie A, Sesko concluded: “It’s always been among the best in Europe, and your players have great European experience. This is why games against Juventus and Inter are intriguing for us. We want to do well.”
