Chiesa ‘talks’

Arsenal are said to be in contact with Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who is likely to be sold this summer. According to Tuttojuve, the Gunners are one of the clubs who have spoken to the player’s representatives over a deal.

Arteta is said to want to sign a winger after a midfielder is snapped up, with more competition needed out wide. Chiesa is available as far as Juventus are concerned, with the Serie A giants already telling the player he can find a new club with just one year left on his contract.

Osimhen claim

A report in Italy has claimed that Arsenal are ready to match Napoli’s asking price for superstar striker Victor Osimhen this summer.

Journalist Ilario Di Giovambattista said on X: “The Arsenal falls on Osimhen. The English, as anticipated in recent days on RadioRadioLoSport, want the Nigerian striker and satisfy the financial requests of SSC Napoli.

“However, Osimhen has an agreement with PSG, who guarantee him a salary significantly higher than that of Arsenal. So, the English offer more to Napoli, the French more to the player. Who will come out on top?”

Nketiah offer rejected

Arsenal are said to have rejected an offer for striker Eddie Nketiah. The forward struggled for game time again last season, sitting behind Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus for the most part.

With the Gunners needing to raise significant money this summer, Arsenal are welcoming offers for Nketiah. but they have a figure in mind. According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have rejected an offer worth around £23million from Marseille. The French giants have been the only club seriously pushing for a deal this summer, and so Arsenal may need to play this one carefully if they want to sell Nketiah.

The Gunners are said to want around £30million to agree a deal.
