The FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar are continuing at pace and Gareth Southgate’s England remain in a strong position to reach the knockout stages despite being held to a 0-0 draw by the USA last night.

Once the international showpiece event reaches its conclusion in Qatar it will be time for attention to return to domestic football and the Premier League will be back on screens and live in grounds following Christmas. Arsenal will return with a tricky home fixture as London rivals West Ham visit The Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day.
