Arsenal youngster Zane Monlouis is interested in going out on loan next term. The 19-year-old defender, who is an England youth international, has been on the books of the London club since 2012.

He has risen up through the academy ranks and has been a key player for the U23s side over recent times. The teenager has said, as per Football London: “For me personally, I’d like to get a loan. Come in for pre-season, just graft, even if I don’t get a loan just continue grafting in the U21s, try to put in as good performances as I possibly can, but for me personally I want to try and get a loan as I feel like that’s where my next step is.”

Bid rebuffed

Arsenal are said to have had a bid rejected by Galatasaray for right-back Sacha Boey, according to Turkish journalist Nevzat Dindar. The 22-year-old has been a standout player for his current club since joining them in 2021 and they could face a battle to keep hold of him in the next transfer window amid reported interest from other teams.

He may be seen by Arteta as someone to add more competition and depth to his defensive department ahead of next season with the return of the Champions League to think about. The Frenchman has played for Rennes in the past.
