Arsenal player ratings gallery: three 8/10s and plenty 7/10s in Bodo/Glimt victory

Arsenal produced a solid display at home to beat Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt 3-0 in the Europa League.

Arsenal continued their strong start to the campaign with a routine 3-0 win over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt at the Emirates in the Europa League.

Mikel Arteta’s side produced a convincing display from the first minute and deservedly took the lead through their energetic forward Eddie Nketiah, the striker profiting from a rebound off Gabriel Martinelli’s strike.

England under-21 record goal scorer, Eddie Nketiah has been playing well every time he’s been given the opportunity but the arrival of Gabriel Jesus has made it difficult for him to have a consistent run in the team.

His goal tonight’s though will give him confidence going into the weekend.

Rob Holding, another player who has been unable to get into the team, scored the second after a well-timed header from a precise Fabio Vieira delivery midday through the first half.

In truth, the Gunners should have ended the first half with more goals but for some brilliant goalkeeping and wastefulness from the Arsenal front line.

Mikel Arteta sent in captain Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus in the second half to try and increase the tally and all three were bundles of energy, hunting and chasing down the visitors all game.

Gabriel Jesus would make his time on the pitch count 10 minutes to the end when he dribbled past two players before setting Fabio Vieira to finish off and seal a 3-0 win for his side.

In what was largely a comfortable evening for Mikel Arteta’s side, here is how we rated every player on the pitch tonight.
