Depending on if the Carrow Road side escape relegation this season, which looks unlikely at this stage, the 22-year old could be allowed to leave for as little as £20 million.

Here is everything you need to know about the player including what has been reported about Arsenal’s attempts to sign him.

Max Arrons is a 22-year old right back who plays for Norwich City in the Premier League.

Born in Hammersmith, Aarons has spent his entire senior career at the Canaries having previously been in the youth academy at Luton Town.

Making his senior debut in the 2018-19 season he immediately established himself as a regular in the Carrow Road side’s first team and played 43 times in all competitions while helping City to lift the EFL Championship title.

During his first season he was also named EFL Young Player of the Year.

Aarons continued as a regular starter during the 2019-20 Premier League season, which saw City relegated back to Championship, and the 2020-21 season where they once again finished top of the Football League.

This season he has made 29 appearances in all competitions for Norwich, bringing him to a career total of 159 senior games at the age of just 22.

He has also scored five goals for the club, all of them in the second tier.

At international level, Aarons has represented England at U19 and U21 level and has won 15 caps for the Young Lions.

Aarons is also eligible to play for Jamaica and has previously been contacted by their national team to make the switch, but has gone on record as saying he does not wish to represent any country other than England.

He is also the cousin of former Premier League winger Rolando Aarons who turned out for Newcastle United and is currently with Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

The Sun have reported that Arsenal and Manchester United are “leading the chase” for Aarons but German heavyweights Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in the player.

The publication is reporting that the Norwich full-back, who has two years left on his current deal at Carrow Road, is valued at £20m and that Barcelona and Roma are also monitoring the situation.

It is claimed that United are ‘assessing their right-back options after Aaron Wan-Bissaka's patchy form’ while Aarons ‘fits the Gunners new blueprint of signing young English stars’ which is why the two clubs are seen as likely suitors for the defender.
