The report claims the two clubs are in talks, and City are willing to sell the Ukranian so that he can get more regular football from the coming season.

Saliba stance

William Saliba has no intention of extending his Arsenal contract, according to GFFN, despite reports the Gunners could be set to offer him a new deal.

Saliba spent last season on loan with Marseille, and he is still yet to make a league appearances for the Gunners having signed in 2019.

As he prepares to return to the Emirates Stadium this summer, it seems the Frenchman wants proof he will see game time before thinking about penning a new deal.
