Arsenal make progress over ‘new transfer priority‘ as Juventus ready ‘mammoth offer’

All the latest Arsenal transfer news and rumours as Mikel Arteta and his men look to continue their pre-season across the pond.

Arsenal are headed Stateside as they look to continue their preparations for the new season.

The Gunners wil spend a week and a half across the pond, playing three games, starting in Baltimore and making their way down to Florida.

Mikel Arteta will be looking to get his men ready for the new campaign during the trip, and he will be helped by the presence of a number of new signings.

Work will also continue behind the scenes in a bid to add more new signings, and with that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium:

Zinchenko efforts

Arsenal are said to be pushing for a deal to sign Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko.

According to The Athletic, the City star has become a priority for the Gunners, who want to snap up a second Citizens star, following the signing of Gabriel Jesus.

The report claims the two clubs are in talks, and City are willing to sell the Ukranian so that he can get more regular football from the coming season.

Saliba stance

William Saliba has no intention of extending his Arsenal contract, according to GFFN, despite reports the Gunners could be set to offer him a new deal.

Saliba spent last season on loan with Marseille, and he is still yet to make a league appearances for the Gunners having signed in 2019.

As he prepares to return to the Emirates Stadium this summer, it seems the Frenchman wants proof he will see game time before thinking about penning a new deal.

Gabriel latest

In other centre-back-related news, it seems Juventus are willing to step up their efforts to land Gabriel Magalhaes.

According to CalciomercatoWeb, Juve are readying an offer worth £25million, but that’s not all they are willing to offer.

The report claims the Old Lady could also send Adrien Rabiot on a permanent deal and Arthur Melo on a loan deal to tempt Arsenal into accepting the transfer.
