Arsenal will already be making plans for the summer transfer window after a rather impressive campaign.

The Gunners made a solid run for the Premier League title this season, and while they ultimately fell short, they can take plenty of confidence from their improvements. There will now be hope - and even expectation - of another title challenge next season, as well as a run in the Champions League, and Mikel Arteta will need to strenghten his squad to meet those expectations.

As the Spaniard and Edu draw up their transfer plans, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Smith Rowe ‘decision’

Arsenal don’t intend to sell Emile Smith Rowe this summer, according to the latest report.

There has been talk of the Gunners potentially selling their English talent due to increased competition along their front line. Smith Rowe has seen a decrease in his starts this season, but it’s hoped he can kick on next season, with The Athletic reporting that Arsenal are keen to keep Smith Rowe.

It will be interesting to see if the player seeks a move should an opportunity come up with the promise of more regular starts, but for now, it seems a stay is more likely.

Arsenal have reportedly tabled a tempting offer for Real Valladolid star Ivan Fresneda.

According to Bild, the Gunners have already tabled an offer, but it’s not clear whether Valladolid have made the full-back aware of the offer amid their battle for safety, still able to secure suvival on the final weekend of La Liga football this weekend.

Fresneda has been linked with a number of clubs, and it would be hoped the 19-year-old can provide future competition for Ben White amid plenty of injury issues for Takehiro Tomiyasu.
