But according to talkSPORT, Arsenal are yet to make a move, concerned about the player’s physicality.

Marseille are said to be stepping up their efforts to sign Gunners defender William Saliba.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Marseille chief Pablo Longoria has now flown to Marseille to step up talks.

He said: “Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria was in London tonight to meet up with William Saliba’s agent for dinner.

“Arsenal consider Saliba important part of the team. “I’m pleased to see the way he is playing. He’s already a top player”.

Leno sale boost

Switching attention to a player Arsenal do want to sell, talks are said to be ongoing over the sale of Bernd Leno.

According to Evening Standard, talks are ongoing with Fulham over the goalkeeper, and Arsenal have now lowered their asking price in a bid to strike a deal.

The Gunners were said to be asking for £10million, but the report claims they are now willing to offload the German for £8million.
